Bundelkhand Today
Today, DA works in over a 100 villages directly along with various civil society groups. Over 500 self-help groups, masons’ associations, and farmers’ clubs are active. A building centre, decentralised power facilities, a women-managed village energy enterprise (Gaushala), livelihoods in paper production, a training facility, eco-friendly brick production, internet centres for villages and a community radio are rural important facilities and assets created.
DA has replicated the Sustainability Resource Centres model- at Pahuj in the district of Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh and at Datia in the district Tikamgarh in Madhya Pradesh.
