Sustainable construction in mountain regions – a question of resources


Mountain regions are a vulnerable Eco-system and construction exerts an important influence on their natural resources. DA, recently, undertook a project on "Delivery Model for Eco-Friendly Multi Hazard Resistant Construction Technologies and Habitat Solutions in Mountain States under the TIME-LEARN programme of the DST", which focuses on strengthening construction practices in the region with ecological, affordable and hazard-resistant building materials and technologies and their delivery on ground.
