    The Green and Inclusive Entrepreneurship Domain of Development Alternatives (DA) Group is working on a key CSR project on women empowerment through a cluster based approach. The project focusses on promoting farm and off-farm initiatives in 6 states of India. DA is implementing the project in partnership with other implementing agencies. The following are the broad objectives of the project:

    • Aggregate to increase scale of economies and income of the target community.
    • Twinning business development services for the clusters with various stakeholders in the private sector.
    • Leveraging PPP schemes & investment; Integrated Entrepreneurship Development Programme.
    • Linking community to more profitable & alternate markets.

    We are looking for a highly motivated professional for the role of Deputy Manager under which specific responsibilities of the candidate will include the following, broadly characterised by maintaining of programmatic and financial reports.

    • Managing day to day operations of the project on cluster based value chain approach.
    • Preparing project finance sheets on a regular basis and maintaining files for admin and finance.
    • Maintaining MIS data for the project regularly and sharing with senior management.
    • Preparing and maintaining templates and dashboards as required by the project.
    • Liasoning with stakeholders along with senior management and managing records.
    • Documentation of case studies, success stories and sharing regularly.
    • Preparing client reports.

In the pursuit of the above, our programs leverage social innovation tools to unleash entrepreneurial energies in women & youth and build positive ecosystems.

    Our approaches in flagship projects such as Work 4 Progress have been recognised as best practices by the United Nations Development Programme and the World Bank for entrepreneurship led job creation. It has also been featured as a UN SDG good practice.

    In order to understand such deep and systemic changes, we have developed a learning system that is based on the principles and techniques of dialogue, analysis and reflection. The learning system in essence is geared to reiterate social innovation and ground-up action for enterprise development and job creation in rural India.

    We are currently looking for a Senior Manager for Learning and Knowledge who will be able lead the identification of significant changes (positive and negative; expected and unexpected) that are occurring and develop strategies with the team to adapt to new challenges in the innovation system.

    The Learning and Knowledge Manager will be responsible for the following:

    Learning and Knowledge Management

    • A pioneering learning, knowledge and communication system that enables almost real time learning and practice through specialist tools such as developmental evaluation and embedded research.

    • Define the management strategy for the knowledge base and maintain high quality, up-to-date content based on internal learning (including management notes) and external knowledge.

    • Build a framework to document processes, consolidate best practices and develop program narratives through an iterative process.

    Knowledge Development and Transference

    • Package the processes, knowledge and learning in forms of process manuals, toolkits, technical reports and narratives for external transference.

    • Be responsible for secondary and field research, developing new social innovation methods and incorporate learning into knowledge products and Communication.

    • Monitor and evaluate program indicators against other entrepreneurship/livelihood development programs.

    Communication

    • Help in Influencing knowledge at the national and global scale, by developing perspective papers, articles, monographs, reports, workshops, and webinars on social innovation driven entrepreneurship at the grassroots.

    • Design communication strategy and disseminate learning knowledge through different media including social media.
